Crimp Type Connectors

Crimp connectors are galvanised to BS729 and are used with 25mm nominal bore (33.7 mm dia) medium gauge tube.

The connectors are used in association with a special crimping tool. To obtain an extremely quick joint, simply push the connectors into one of the tubes, align the arrow on the crimping tool and then squeeze the handles of the tool together. (Crimping tool are available on a sale or hire basis.

Expanding Type Connectors

Expanding connectors are galvanised to BS729 and are for use with 25mm nominal bore (33.7mm dia) and 32mm nominal bore (42.4mm dia) tubular handrail.

Internal Grubscrew Type Connectors

These are suitable for 25mm nominal bore (33.7mm dia), 32mm nominal bore (42.4mm dia), 40mm nominal bore (48.4mm dia) tubular handrail, together with M8 grubscrews.

Solid Handrail Type Connectors

Solid Connectors are welded to the solid handrailing and ground flush. The male connectors fits into the female and are locked together by means of a grubscrew.
